While in the Spa Mode, an X10 code activates a heat boost relay which turns ON the pool/spa heater for two minutes and then automatically turns it OFF. The controller automatically reverts back to Pool Mode after 1 to 16 hours (programmable). The Pool/Spa controller can be used with a wide variety of X10 transmitters, such as desk-top controllers, telephone responders, and whole-home automation controllers (sold separately).
